a lovely day at the Acorn School Open House!

March 24, 2013

Dearest Acorn friends and families,

What a lovely day we had at Acorn School! I met lots of new friends, some expected and some surprises. We truly have an amazing community here in the Rondout Valley. It was wonderful and inspiring to see all the little children in the classroom playing, meeting new friends and deep in story during the puppet play, from the youngest to the oldest!

A deep bow of gratitude to Acorn parents that prepared delicious treats for all of us to enjoy. Thank you also to David Levy and Omelyan Shuhan for a lively reading and happy music during our story, Lucky Patrick. As always Mrs. Grudin… it’s an honor and pleasure enlivening puppets side by side with you!

We had a wonderful turn out today. I was quite busy answering questions and greeting new and familiar families and may have missed a few….If there is anyone who would like to schedule a more intimate meeting, please email me and I am happy to set something up with you. I am putting together a welcome letter to several new families who will joining the school in the fall as well as for Summer Camp. Wonderful!

I look forward to getting to know many of you better and having the opportunity to serve your children and families.

Warmest regards,

Motria
